Marcel van Roosmalen | I can't complain

In 'I can't complain', Marcel van Roosmalen searches for the answer to the question of how things could get so gigantically out of hand in his life. And he ends up in Arnhem, a city where you are 2-0 down at birth but where, to his regret, he grew into the Arnhemmer of the Netherlands.

Outside the city limits, he creates a furore with his razor-sharp formulations and eagle eye for human shortcomings and is therefore hated and threatened. Inside the city limits, he is held in high regard. Yet moving back to Arnhem is not an option, as he is sure it can only backfire. So what is left? Nothing. And he can't complain either.

About Marcel van Roosmalen

After thirty years on the fringes, he was finally there - the Great Breakthrough. From cult journalist to Dutch celebrity in a lightning flash. Suddenly, we listening to high-profile podcasts, we ratings hits, we book top-ten quotes and visiting sold-out theatres. All his dreams, desires and ambitions are now coming together. After charmingly bumbling in 'Dit Is Nederland', pancake successes with Gijs Groenteman and full theatres from Wormer to Winschoten with Eva Hoeke, the time has come. Marcel van Roosmalen. Finally alone.
