Berkel Sunset Sail

As the sun slowly sets behind Zutphen and the water turns golden, the Berkel comes to life during the Berkel Sunset Sail. An atmospheric summer’s evening where boats, music, lights and socialising come together to create a unique experience for young and old alike.

Along the quays and on the water, a unique setting is created where residents, visitors, skippers, business owners and volunteers come together to demonstrate what makes Zutphen so special. Enjoy boats gliding by in the evening sun, surprising musical performances, atmospheric lighting and a relaxed atmosphere centred on socialising.

The Berkel Sunset Sail is an initiative by residents of the De Uitwijk activities team and is organised for and by the town. The event is free to attend, so that everyone can enjoy it, regardless of age, background or budget.

Come and have a look, listen to the music, meet other Zutphen residents and experience the Berkel in a way you may never have before.
