From 10 April through 25 September, the Werkgroep Joods Zutphen organises the Stadswandeling Joods Zutphen every Friday afternoon. A guided city walk will show you the locations where once the Jewish inhabitants of Zutphen lived and worked during the time of a large flourishing Jewish Congregation in Zutphen.
Thus, the history is told from the beginning of Jewish life in Zutphen around 1800, the flourishing Jewish Congregation at the end of the nineteenth century, the consequences of the occupation years 1940-1945, up to Jewish life today.
You will start at 13.30 at the Synagoge. The walk takes about 1.5 hours and ends again at the Synagoge, where coffee and tea will be ready.

- Payment can be made in advance at the Synagoge (pin possible). Proceeds benefit the maintenance of the Jewish cemetery.
