Night Ride of Zutphen

The night-time carriage ride through Zutphen and the surrounding area is renowned for its illuminated, authentic horse-drawn carriages as they make their way through the old town centre. It is one of the few rides that takes place after dark, lit by candles without the use of modern technology. The public can admire the carriages at various locations and, of course, along the route.
From 3.00 pm, participants will gather at the Hanzehal in Zutphen. At 6.00 pm, the procession sets off on a journey of approximately 22 kilometres through the bocage landscape towards Eefde and Gorssel. Along the way, there will be a stop at the Tramhuisje in Gorssel. At around 9.00 pm, the participants will arrive at Dat Bolwerck on the Zaadmarkt in Zutphen, where the candles will be lit for the atmospheric finale through the town centre. At 9.30 pm, the procession will continue through the historic streets of Zutphen.
It promises to be a beautiful route with special carriages.
