Luxorfilm at ’t Warnshuus

Every year, Luxor Theater tours various community centres in Zutphen under the banner ‘Luxor de wijk in’. This time, it’s presenting the heart-warming musical film *Song Sung Blue*.

*Song Sung Blue* (2025) tells the true story of two musicians (Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson) who form a lively Neil Diamond tribute band, proving that it is never too late to find love and chase your dreams. During the ‘Luxor de wijk in’ series, the film will be screened at the following venues:

Waterkracht Community Centre – Tuesday 1 September
DWK Activities Association – Wednesday 9 September
De Uitwijk Community Centre – Tuesday 29 September
’t Warnshuus – Thursday 8 October

The story
The story is set in Milwaukee in the 1990s, where the destitute couple Mike and Claire Sardina perform Neil Diamond covers in small venues. The British singer has always been particularly popular in the United States. But they never imagined that their tribute act would become such a huge success. Their luck, however, proves short-lived when fate has other plans.
