You can easily book a stadswandeling met gids or a trip with the fluisterboot (the sailing season runs from 1 April to 31 October). Our enthusiastic guides and boatmen will let you experience the best of Zutphen - from medieval alleys to the view from the Berkel river.
Stadswandeling met gids
Do you really want to get to know Zutphen? Set off with an experienced guide and discover the atmospheric streets, centuries-old buildings and hidden gems of this beautiful Hanseatic city. During a city walk of approximately 1.5 hours, the guide will take you through the historical city centre of Zutphen and tell you fascinating stories, fun facts and surprising anecdotes about the past and present of the city.
Whether you are out and about with family, friends or colleagues, a stadswandeling met gids is the perfect way to experience Zutphen together. The walk can be booked for groups of 8 or more, with a starting time that we plan in consultation to fit in with your day programme.

Sail in a fluisterboot
Experience Zutphen in a completely different way, from the water! Step aboard an fluisterboot with your group and sail past the most beautiful spots of the city in just over an hour. On the way, you will pass historical highlights, centuries-old warehouses, city walls and green banks that together tell the story of Zutphen.
Along the way, the whisperer (the skipper and narrator) shares fascinating stories, anecdotes and surprising facts about the history of this special Hanseatic city in his own unique way. This way, you will not only discover Zutphen, but also the atmosphere and charm that make the city so beloved.
The boat trip starts and ends at the Rijkenhage and can be booked for groups of 8 people or more. The electric boats have fixed departure times at 11.00, 13.00 and 15.00. In June, July and August, there is an extra departure on Saturdays at 4.30 pm.
A small boat (maximum 10 persons) costs € 90,00 per boat
A large boat (maximum 16 people) costs € 140.00 per boat
The Fluisterboten operate from April to October.

Visit our heritage
Everywhere you look in Zutphen, you see traces of a rich past. The city has over nine hundred (national) monuments - from churches to almshouses, from city gates to characteristic shop premises. The historic city centre breathes history, and much of this heritage can be admired not only from the outside, but also from the inside.
Groups of 8 people or more can visit the Burgerzaal, one of the oldest town halls in the Netherlands, or climb the Wijnhuistoren and enjoy a magnificent view of Zutphen with a guide. While admiring the city from above, the guide tells fascinating stories about the monuments, and why these monuments make Zutphen so special.
A visit to the Wijnhuistoren and Burgerzaal costs €3.50 per person.
