The Netherlands Film Orchestra

The legendary film music of masterful Italian composers comes to life this winter in ‘Maestro del Cinema’. The Netherlands Film Orchestra takes you on a journey through the masterpieces of classical and modern film composers: from Morricone to Einaudi.

The orchestra will perform, amongst other pieces, Ennio Morricone’s memorable earlier work *Once Upon a Time in the West*, as well as the more recent *The Hateful Eight*. Nicola Piovani’s *La Vita è Bella* adds a melancholic note, whilst the lyrical sounds and minimalist music of Ludovico Einaudi’s *Nomadland* verges on pop music. Naturally, Nino Rota’s *The Godfather* is a must-have on the programme for this concert.

Experience the legendary maestros at their best through a combination of images and music. Hear and see the music as it was intended.
