Pilgrims’ treasure hunt

until 25 October

Children

Follow in the footsteps of a pilgrim in Zutphen. During the autumn half-term holiday, children aged 8 to 12 can collect the free pilgrim treasure hunt from the tourist information office on the Houtmarkt.

During your walk through the historic fortified town, you’ll pass through city gates, along the ramparts, past churches, through hidden alleyways and past remarkable buildings. Take a good look around, complete the challenges and discover centuries-old stories, special symbols and hidden animals.

What’s special is that this relic is currently back in Zutphen on a temporary basis. You can view it in the ‘Saints & Heroes’ exhibition at the ‘ Stedelijk Museum Zutphen ’…

Can you complete all the tasks? If so, you’ll have finished your pilgrimage and can collect a souvenir from the tourist information office.

The treasure hunt was developed by the Zutphen Heritage Centre in collaboration with InZutphen.
