PHONES OFF, FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS AND BRACE YOURSELVES FOR SOME SERIOUS TURBULENCE!

The hilarious classic comedy ‘BOEING BOEING’ was last performed fifteen years ago, with Jon van Eerd in one of the leading roles. This season, he is directing this theatrical smash hit in a refreshing new adaptation.

In this hilariously funny comedy, we meet the business-minded Eva (Loiza Lamers), who is seeing no fewer than three lovers. In her luxury holiday villa by the sea, she spends her holiday following a strict schedule in which the men – three pilots – are, in theory, never meant to cross paths, allowing Eva herself to enjoy her time to the full. Or so she thought! Because she hadn’t reckoned with a series of unexpected changes to flight schedules and a storm over the ocean, which throw everything into disarray. And as if that weren’t bad enough, the arrival of her clueless and naive friend Connie (Rian Gerritsen) makes the situation a whole lot more complicated. Eva’s family friend and penniless influencer Arthur (Barry Beijer) also adds his two cents to the mix, which is already brimming with misunderstandings and panic. Air Italia’s Gino (Patrick Martens), Air France’s Louis (Thomas Cammaert) and Lufthansa’s Ludwig (Loek Peters) are all threatening to lower their landing gear at the same time, causing the romantic plans to quickly turn into an emergency situation the likes of which international aviation has never seen before.

What should have been a pleasant, romantic and varied holiday quickly turns into an international adventure full of priceless, zany misunderstandings, silly mix-ups and side-splitting panic! It promises to be an adventure in which, biting your nails with nervous excitement and rocking back and forth in your seat with roaring disbelief, you’ll see the audience explode into a thunderous roar of laughter like never before.

Sit up straight and have a safe journey!
