Le nuove musiche: around Monteverdi’s organ

Ensemble le nuove musiche has had Monteverdi’s famous organ reconstructed based on old scores and depictions in paintings. The inimitably delicate sound was achieved using organ pipes made of cypress wood.
Led by keyboardist Krijn Koetsveld, two instrumentalists and two sopranos will perform music from Italy and the Netherlands.
