This wonderful family musical tells the story of ‘The Little Prince’ in a way never before seen in Dutch theatres.
The Little Prince and the Pilot set off on a journey. This journey takes them to various planets and to Earth. A Rose, a Geographer, an Enlightener, a Businessman, a King and a Fox accompany them as they come to understand the true value of love and friendship. On Earth, for instance, The Little Prince sees a whole row of rose bushes. He is disappointed, as he thought his Rose was the only one in the universe. But The Fox explains to the little prince that his Rose is indeed unique and special, because she is the one he loves.

The production features magical projections for every scene, enchanting performances and beautiful music that will move the audience.

‘The Little Prince’ is a musical that really matters. It reminds us that the value of an object or a person lies in the memories it evokes in us. In this way, you see things that are imperceptible to the naked eye, but which can be perceived by the soul and the heart; it is these things that give life its meaning.

The basis for the staging of ‘The Little Prince’ comes from Barcelona and was created by the theatre company La Perla 29. Manu Guix, also known as a musical theatre singer, composed the music and created beautiful songs in a variety of styles.
The production was directed by Angel Llacer, a well-known television presenter who made his directorial debut just over three years ago.

Since then, ‘The Little Prince’ has been performed over 400 times at the Theatre Barts in the heart of Barcelona’s cultural centre and continues to enjoy great public interest.
