Book fair at the Buitensociëteit: a paradise for book lovers!

On Sunday, from 11.00 to 16.00, the atmospheric theatre hall of the Buitensociëteit will open its doors for the twelfth edition of this large-scale book fair. This is the perfect opportunity to stock up your bookshelves, unearth some special finds and enjoy the atmosphere of a proper book fair.

With over 30 stalls brimming with books across all genres, there is something for every book lover to discover. From rare antiquarian books to brand-new publications, the variety is immense. Freya and Ruud from Antiquariaat Mooi Exemplaar in Zutphen, the organisers of this annual festival, have put together a wonderful selection.

As well as second-hand books, new books will also be on sale. For poetry lovers, the bookshop ‘Hond in de Kast’ will be there. ‘Stokroos Boeken’ from De Hoven will be present with books on nature and topography. Children’s books and picture books, as well as anthroposophical books, can be found at Mooi Exemplaar. Of course, private book sellers will also be present at this book fair.

Whether you’re a seasoned book collector or simply enjoy having a browse, this fair has something for everyone. The selection of books is varied and prices range widely, so there’s something to suit every budget.
