Liberation Route
The Liberation Route Vorden-Gorssel is a 28.7-kilometre walking route linking the villages of Vorden, Gorssel, Warnsveld, Zutphen and Eefde. This route is part of the Liberation Route Europe, a transnational memorial project linking important locations from World War II.
During the walk, one passes historical sites that recall events during the liberation of the Netherlands. In Zutphen, a city with a rich history, there are several monuments and sites that keep the memory of the war alive. The route offers walkers the opportunity to reflect on this history and reflect on the value of freedom.
