Atelier Engelhard
Atelier Engelhard is the studio of visual artist Carien Engelhard in Zutphen. Carien is fascinated by ‘ordinary’ processes in nature, such as growth and decay, but also the play of light and shadow. She is inspired by calligraphy, partly as a result of her time spent in China. This is reflected in her personal work. Carien also teaches a range of subjects, such as calligraphy, working from a model, and transitioning from two-dimensional to three-dimensional work.
