Het Volkshuis
“Zutphen’s living room”, the oldest community centre in the Netherlands, where everyone is welcome. People come here for a lovely cup of coffee with our homemade cakes, or just to have a chat, to feel welcome and to sit and relax without any obligation to buy anything.
Het Volkshuis does not serve alcohol, which in itself makes it a rather special venue. They are open daily, except on Mondays, from 09:00 to 17:00, and there is a wide selection of newspapers available every day. As well as a delicious cup of coffee with the famous apple pie, the menu features delicious lunches which our staff will be delighted to serve you.
