Great fun and plenty of adventures for children up to 8 years old

Many children now know their way to the library on Wednesday afternoons for a cosy story-time session. It’s simply a chance for a group of children to listen to a story read aloud by a volunteer storyteller. Sometimes it’s from an exciting book, other times from a funny one. But adventure books aren’t forgotten either! The children clearly enjoy themselves and leave with a smile on their faces.

Children up to the age of 8 can simply pop in with their parents or grandparents for the story-telling afternoons. The volunteer story-teller will be ready with a fun, funny, educational or adventurous book.

Reading aloud is about discovering language together. It’s about immersing yourselves in the world of the story. Reading aloud is both educational and enjoyable. What’s more, it stimulates the imagination and develops a feel for language.

Every Wednesday afternoon, there is also a story-telling session at the Library in Warnsveld between 3 pm and 4 pm!
